I know I give the Press Democrap a hard time alot….But can you blame me when shit like this happens? Front page news about some chick who kissed Simon Cowell when they were 9 years old….WOW she lives in Petaluma….I can already see the writers huddle dialogue:

“Ok guys this is our BIG CHANCE at nationwide exposure. Douchebag 1, you take Douchebag 2 with you and try to FIND this broad in Petaluma….This could be the big one people…”

There’s nothing wrong with stories every now and then that are of a humorous nature. But when you continue to cover that “story” for multiple days, then you become a half assed gossip rag.

It’s bad enough that Chris Smith thinks he’s like the poor man’s Garrison Keillor and ATTEMPTS to write in a romanticizing way about “Gool Ol Shanta Rosha”. Now we got the rest of the staff wanting to be TMZ reporters.

  1. Well, stand by and be prepared for about 4 new “updates” by the very lame Press Demo.

    Speaking of the Press Demo, notice they print garbage like this and totally ignore the REAL story of the day….. that for ten years running, the water bureaucrats blame the public for water shortages (i.e. you actually wash your car and water your lawn!? SHAME!) ……..

    THE QUESTION IS… when will the water bureaucrats do their jobs and expand water storage capacity for the North Bay? But don’t ask the Press Demo to investigate their failures….. the Press Demo is just as incompetent as the water bureaucrats themselves.

  4. This is standard shop work by the PD. They ignore all the real issue around here because its just easier to write these toung e and cheek (no pun intended I think).

    I was thinking a few days ago how stupid of a newspaper name that it is. THE PRESS DEMOCRAT. Who came up with that?
